On April 19, 2013, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called JAC), a leading Chinese automotive manufacture, and GreenTech Automotive Inc. (hereinafter called GTA), an American manufacturer of all-electric vehicles, announced a strategic partnership and formally signed “Agreement for 2,000 Unites JAC Pure Electric Sedans Exporting to United States”. The sedan will combine JAC’s award-winning vehicle design with GTA’s advanced electric powertrain system. The signing of the agreement indicates JAC pure electric vehicles has been successfully entered into the developed countries in North America in the technology and market strategy cooperation with GTA, creating a history for Chinese pure electric sedans launching into developed countries for scale.
GTA is a company dedicated to develop, produce and sell the energy-saving and environmental-protecting vehicles with a reasonable price. Its main markets are concentrated in United States, Western Europe and other developed countries. In October 2009, GTA announced the United States Project officially started. In 2013, GTA has become the emerging electric vehicle company with the largest annual capacity, and successfully become an electric automotive supplier for U.S. Department of Defense. Its sales and service network has extended to all over North America and European Union countries, and the customers include government, post offices, schools, fast food chains, a large playground and large companies. It is understood that JAC pure electric vehicles will also cooperate in these areas.
